How Green is Your Garden?...

Is it healthy, sustainable
and helping the urban environment?
Or does it struggle in our hot and
dry climate?

This question was posed at the latest Stirring the Possum forum,
‘How Green is Your Garden?’ held at Hilton Adelaide on
Tuesday 28 April.

More than 700 people turned out to uncover the secrets to creating their eco-garden masterpiece with our expert panel - ABC Gardening Australia’s Sophie Thomson, Professor Chris Daniels from UniSA, urban designer Joshua Zuenert and sustainability specialist Sheryn Pitman.

The discussion was insightful and thought provoking, exploring what we can do at a global, community and individual level to protect and restore the diversity of life that sustains our city.

Hands-on gardening and landscaping advice was a key feature of the night, including the construction of a green roof and living wall display garden and an interactive foyer expo.
